AQUACORE, Division of Aquest, Inc.

In March of 2004, Aquacore was created as the Filtration Division of Aquest, Inc., a 23-year-old manufacturer of water dispensing faucets and water quality monitors. In early 2002, the research team at Aquest began to study two emerging trends in water treatment; 1) membrane technology, and 2) a renewed focus on Point-Of-Entry (P.O.E.) water treatment systems. Aquest, with our combined experience of over 125 years in the Water Treatment Industry and our knowledge of residential markets, began to evaluate new membrane technologies and how they might be used in whole-house applications. Hollow fiber technology, which was being used very successfully in large scale municpal water treatment showed great promise for these types of applications.

After two years of evaluating hollow fiber technology in closely-watched residential applications, we consolidated our knowledge and experience and created what has become our Aquacore line of residential ultra-filtration equipment. Since March of 2004, we have been broadening our field experience and gaining knowledge of how Aquacore works on a wide spectrum of problem waters. Aquacore is proud to be the first company to bring patented multi-bore, hollow fiber ultrafiltration to residential markets in the USA and Canada.
